Harbor Auto Body was started back in 1973 by Joseph Shank and his wife Elaine when they were 18 years of age. A small operation name Joe’s Auto Body at the time with a passion for automobiles, Joseph and Elaine knew that with superior customer service they could be a leader in the automobile refinishing industry.

Fast forward 45 years and while many things have changed in the way of state-of-the-art technology used to match paint and refinish cars, there are some that havent changed. Its not uncommon to go into Harbor Auto Body today and see Elaine and Joe there at the shop.

Owner

Self employed for 45 years, Joe takes pride in his extensive automotive repair background. Joe is a licensed appraiser and loves dealing with longtime and new customers.

Elaine

Co-Owner / Office Manager

Co-owner of Harbor Auto Body for 45 years, Elaine loves her job and her employees. Two of her six grandchildren work at Harbor Auto Body during summer vacations!

Mike

Manager

With fifteen years of automotive experience and a lifetime automotive enthusiast, Mike is Harbor’s trusted shop manager.

Peter

Shop Foreman

Peter has been in the auto collision trade for seventeen years. Peter is certified in many areas of the auto repair process. In his free time, Peter also enjoys woodworking projects.

Shelley

Secretary

Retired from corporate environment and long commutes! Shelley enjoys the small business atmosphere at Harbor Auto Body and the team that makes it up.

Painter

Jeremy is the best painter in Middlesex County! Having been painting for 25 years, Jeremy is an expert in all things automotive painting.

Top notch crew and work done by the guys at Harbor Auto. Sitting still in traffic, my 2 month old WRX was hit lightly in the rear. I got under-quoted by the other driver's insurance, but Harbor did a great job dealing with the company and all I had to talk to them about is what rental car I wanted. Harbor did a fantastic job blending the paint and mounting the replacement bumper cover and bumper. 2 years later, it still looks perfect with arguably better paint than the factory! I fully recommend them!
